Paint It Forward: Special Gallery Exhibit with Mathew McFarren

The Granville Center for the Arts is proud to host a special gallery exhibit featuring local art legend Mathew McFarren—and this show comes with a powerful purpose. Together, we're using art to help fight hunger right here at home.

Throughout the month, a portion of Mathew's art sales and 100% of the arts center's gallery commission will be donated to the Mid-Ohio Food Bank and FPN Food Pantry Network Serving Licking County, helping provide meals and hope for families in need. Every painting purchased makes a real difference.

About the Artist:

Mathew McFarren is a Granville-based fine artist whose creative journey began at the Colorado Institute of Art. After launching his career as an illustrator in Denver, he founded his own illustration studio in 1987 and later taught at the Metropolitan State University of Denver and the Rocky Mountain College of Art & Design.

Mathew's art reflects the ebb and flow of life—embracing change, emotion, and connection in every brushstroke. His work invites viewers to pause, feel, and find beauty in the in-between moments that shape who we are.
