This workshop series is an exciting, hands-on experience in intuitive abstract painting. When working with acrylic paints, we often paint in layers, allowing each layer to build upon the one before it. Every layer becomes a piece of art on its own, and by working on the same canvas over multiple days, we’ll explore how a painting can shift and evolve over time.

Each participant will be given 2 large 30x30” canvases to use throughout the series. When we paint intuitively it is always good to be working on one than more canvas at a time. We will flow between the two canvases in each session. At the end of each session, we’ll take a photo of our paintings, documenting the transformation step by step. By the end of the workshop, you’ll not only have 2 richly layered final paintings but also a visual timeline of their evolution, with photos capturing how the piece changed over the course of the series.

This is a great opportunity to dive deeper into the process of intuitive painting, experiencing firsthand the dynamic growth of your work while enjoying a playful, creative environment. Previous experience in painting is not necessary, just a desire to learn and express your own creative voice.
