This is the second of three lunch and learn events where students get together to eat, unwind and learn something useful.

This event features a mental health workshop in collaboration with Anise Health.

Event description:

Are you addicted to stress? How do you know if you're at risk-of burnout or already burned-out? Do people of Asian descent experience more perfectionism than others? Join us on October 24 in discussing these important topics with leading mental health professionals at Anise Health, a culturally-responsive mental health platform for the Asian community. This session will be facilitated by Anise's therapists who will use a gentle, conversational style to review evidence-based research about cultural stressors in the AAPI diaspora. Furthermore, this event will help attendees learnpractical techniques to reduce burnout and address perfectionism. Lunch will be provided at (location) from (insert time) on October 24.

Clinician facilitator bio:

Dr. Yun Chen is a licensed clinical psychologist and the director of clinical innovation at Anise Health. He grew up in Shanghai, China, completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Michigan, and earned his Ph.D. in clinical psychology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He is a father, husband, son, international student/scholar, therapist, supervisor, educator, social activist, and an ordinary human with strengths and weaknesses, like everybody else.

Attendance Requirements

To reserve a student ticket, you must be currently enrolled and registered in a degree-granting graduate or professional program at Penn.

Students must register with their PENN ID number and be prepared to show a GRADUATE Penn ID at the point of event entry for verification of student status. Failure to provide your Penn ID will result in immediate ticket cancellation.
