About this event

Travel & Outdoor

Come learn about the archaeology of the Jupiter Inlet from an aquatic perspective with Florida Public Archaeology Network - Southeast Region!

This FREE guided paddle launching from the lighthouse shore encompasses archaeological, environmental, and historical knowledge of the Jupiter Inlet.

We will climb the lighthouse before going out on the water with staff from the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse and Museum.

The paddle will be at a casual pace with multiple stops on the way. We will be on the water for around 2 hours so bring sunscreen and water! Please bring your own kayak or paddleboard.

Meet in the parking lot of the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse & Museum at 9:00 am on October 22nd. FPAN will let you through the gate, and you can drive in and unload kayaks on the shore before climbing the lighthouse.

We will be meeting at 9:00 am in the parking lot and beginning the climb at 9:30 am, giving us time to unload.
