PAC Community Round Table| Dinner Provided
Overview
Community members are invited to join us in person to discuss how the Family Success Center can best support our community through programs and activities for children and families. The Community Round Table is our (PAC) Parent Advisory Council.
What is the PAC?
The Parent Advisory Council (PAC) is a diverse group of community members — including adults, children, neighbors, mentors, caregivers, and parents — who come together with courage and collaboration to help shape the future of our Family Success Center.
PAC members envision a community where families and individuals feel welcomed, supported, and empowered. Through shared ideas, lived experiences, and nurturing leadership, this council helps guide and strengthen the programs and services we offer, ensuring they truly reflect the needs and hopes of the people we serve.
What does the PAC do?
- Provides feedback on programs and services
- Suggests new ideas or improvements
- Assists with planning and volunteering at events
- Acts as ambassadors to other families
- Ensures the center stays family-centered and inclusive
Why is it important?
PAC members are essential to making sure that Pinelands stays community-driven, accessible, and responsive to local families. Their insight helps ensure that programming is not “for” families but created with them.
Dinner is provided.
