PA Flax Project Flax Proccessing Event

Garden Dreams Greenhouse & Urban farm is collaborating with PA Flax Project on their Squard Yard Project. Join us on November 8th to learn all about flax fiber history, production, and processing! Participants of the Square Yard Project will be using hand tools to process their retted flax into fibers. There will be spinning demonstrations using a simple drop needle.

• Limited on street parking. Can park at park'n'ride lot at Hamnett Station
• One block from Busway. Hamnet Station. 61A
• Site entrace accessible by sidewalk, then gravel driveway to greenhouse. Greenhouse has limited paved concrete access. While gardens are uneven grass surfaces

• Bring a water bottle. Water available from a sink
