About Me

Meet Leila, our Professional Oyster Shucker and Mermmelier, an Oyster Sommelier! She hails from the DMV area but has shucked all across the continental United States ranging from Washington State in the Pacific Northwest to Maine to New Orleans, Louisiana where she spent most of her time working in world class oyster bars.

Leila offers a unique experience for any event as she is a scientist and researcher at the William & Mary's Virginia Institute of Marine Science where she studies oysters and has worked all over the country as an oyster farmer and hatchery technician to fully understand all the hands that touch oysters in their lifecycle.

She also has a great infiniti for building a culinary experience for her patrons by supplying a range of toppings and sauces to pair with your oyster experience.
