OWP Literacy Lab

OWP will be hosting a 2 Day Literacy Lab.

Teachers will strengthen reading/writing instructional strategies with students.

Moore Public Schools is hosting this 2 Day Literacy Lab for any teacher in the surrounding area.

Location: 1500 SE 4th St. Moore, OK 73160

Participants will collaborate to connect pieces of Science of Reading with best practices from the Oklahoma Writing Project.

Participants will experience writing groups and how to use them in the elementary classroom.

Participants will gather a toolbox of strategies and ideas to immediately implement with students!

This will be a hands on workshop where teachers learn from each other to strengthen literacy activities in the upcoming school year!

Dates: June 9-10, 2025

Time: 9:00 am - 3:30 pm

Audience: Teachers Grades Kdg-6th

Cost: $200 per person
