Please join the Northwestern Michigan College Social Work Program and the Northwest Michigan Coalition to End Homelessnes for a special film screening of Owned: A Tale of Two Americas. This film explores the racist roots of American housing policy and details the choices that led to widespread commoditization of housing and the economic collapse of 2008.
The film will be followed by a community-driven discussion about housing insecurity and homelessness in our region, moderated by Ryan Hannon, Street Outreach Coordinator at Goodwill Northern Michigan and featuring:
