Does this Eventbrite ticket reserve my spot in a class?

No. This Eventbrite ticket is for informational purposes only. You must book a particular class on a particular day on my website, bigartventures.com, with a $25 deposit.

Why can't I pick a date on EventBrite?

Because my classes run frequently and fill at different times, only my website shows the real-time schedule. Eventbrite is just a place for people to discover the class.

What's included in the class?

Everything you need to create a gorgeous piece of art: All supplies, including a 30" x 40" stretched canvas, step-by-step guidance, gourmet snacks, and a relaxed outdoor North Park studio.

What will I paint?

Within reason, whatever you want! You find some inspo images online of existing abstract art, and we use that as a starting point for you to make something completely unique. Please note:  you must choose and send me your inspo image in advance, so I can make sure it's do-able in the time we have.

Do I need experience?

Nope! Most of the people who come to class have little, if any, painting experience. I break down the steps needed to create a gorgeous, oversized abstract piece. And I help if you're struggling and want a little assistance. Everybody leaves with a piece they love and are proud of.

Is this like a paint and sip class?

Nope. This is an elevated, boutique experience. We use high-quality materials and I provide serious (but fun) instruction to make what YOU want to make. Each painter proceeds at a pace that works for them.

What should I wear?

What if the date I want is full?

Each class has only three people in it and they do fill up quickly. If you can come on a date NOT listed, get in touch with me via the contact us page and I may be able to add a class for you.

Can I bring a friend?

Each person who comes must book a spot, so if there are three spots available in a class, then yes, you can come with two friends, but you each need to book individually on my website, bigartventures.com.

Question 10

Is the deposit refundable? What if I need to reschedule?

Accepted Answer

The deposit is refundable as long as we are not within two weeks of the class date. Likewise, the class is reschedulable if it's more than two weeks away.

What's the parking situation?

There is free, on-street parking in North Park but it's sometimes tight. The North Park parking garage is inexpensive and two blocks away, if needed.

Where does the  class take place?

In our lovely hidden outdoor (covered) studio. We'll send the address after you book on the website. The address listed here is just a placeholder because I don't want people accidentally showing up without having officially booked.
