Join us as we kick off Exhibition Weekend with the opening reception of the fourth annual Outlined in Black Exhibition. Presented in partnership with Akron200 as part of the Akron Bicentennial Celebration.


Since 2021, Outlined in Black has been our flagship showcase of artistry in Akron and North East Ohio. It’s more than an exhibition—it’s a gathering of artists, arts champions, and the community to celebrate a wide range of bold, vibrant and soulful work. This year, the opening reception kicks off a full Exhibition Weekend, with a two-day program of art, film,Our Eyes See the Sun at The Nightlight Theatre .

Following the reception, the exhibition will be open on until November 1st.
