OUTLINE WORKSHOP

OUTLINE WORKSHOP

By PHOENIX SCREENWRITERS ASSOCIATION

Overview

Learn dramatic structure and outline a screenplay with professional feedback

Outlining is crucial in screenwriting because it provides a structured roadmap for your story. Outlines clarifies plot points and helps manage pacing and story beats before the actual writing process begins. Screenwriter Chris Lamont will provide a two-hour lecture presentation on the basics of outlining. Trained mentors will then critique participant work to help take your story to the next level.

Tickets include one workshop + 2 mentorship session in small groups. Monday Mentorships will occur on Mondays, January 26th and February 9th and Wednesday Mentorship will occur on Wednesdays, January 28th and February 11th. Dates subject to change. All events will take place in Tempe, AZ.

It is highly recommended that students read Bill Synder's Save the Cat for this workshop.
