Meet LGBTQ+ people who have stood up and stood out proudly throughout history.

Join us for a fascinating journey through queer history as we celebrate the lives and achievements of pioneers who defied social convention to live authentically—often at great personal cost.

In this eye-opening talk, you’ll meet trailblazers who helped shape LGBTQ visibility across time and cultures, including:

  • Alexander the Great, whose love life was as legendary as his conquests
  • The first male nude in art after a millennium of censorship
  • The bisexual Hollywood star who quipped she was “pure as the driven slush”
  • The actor who walked away from fame rather than marry a “beard”
  • America’s first openly gay artist
  • The activist who founded both the first gay bookstore and the first Pride march
  • The poet who took the U.S. Post Office to court for banning his work—and won
  • The cross-dressing, bisexual novelist who inspired Virginia Woolf’s Orlando
  • The French poet-provocateur who fled to Capri with an early gay erotic muse

…and many more who changed the world simply by being themselves.

Celebrate the courage, creativity, and resilience of LGBTQ people through the ages—and discover how their stories continue to inspire pride today.
