Out on the Brazos Code of Conduct
If you do not comply with these rules, you will be asked to leave the event by staff.
- Attendees must have their wrist band on while at the event where volunteers can see it.
- All participants are expected to behave respectfully.
- Participants are not to speak poorly of LGBTQIA+ people, try to recruit people away from their identities, or in any way take a stance against the LGBTQIA+ community.
- Use inclusive language and respect everyone’s pronouns and identities.
- No protests will be allowed. All protesters will be asked to leave.
- No proselytizing or solicitation.
- No recording or photography without the direct consent of the person(s) being recorded.
- No photography or filming for other than personal purposes without permission from Waco Pride Network.
- No signs, posters, or banners are allowed. (Exception for vendors)
- No weapons (including firearms, knives, or incendiary devices). No exceptions for concealed carry permit holders.
- No illegal behavior (including: illegal substances, sexual activities, theft, vandalism, physical violence, or any other behavior that endanger the safety of individuals or groups)
- Please act responsibly; be respectful of community spaces.
- Waco Pride Network and all associated board members and volunteers will not be responsible for any lost belongings or injuries incurred while attending Out on the Brazos.
