We hereby announce the return of live dance. Shedding the shackles of zoom, we add our voices and bodies to the resurrection of art!

Four veteran choreographers from the DC area return to the stage for live performances: Out of the Box/Into the World. Sylvana Christopher, director of SylviDances; Stacey Yvonne Claytor, director of Claytor Company; Roxann Morgan Rowley, director of Next Reflex Dance Collective; and Malcolm Shute, director of Human Landscape Dance, will premiere contemporary dance crafted during the pandemic at the Dance Institute of Washington’s Fabian Barnes Black Box Theater, 3400 14th St NW, Washington DC, 2 blocks north of the Columbia Heights Metro on the Green Line.
