We are putting renewed energy on community and authentically holding space for each other as we navigate what it means to be a femme business owner. Kindred is a space where femme-aligned business owners and community leaders of diverse, intersecting identities can connect, collaborate, and unwind.
What is Kindred?
Kindred is a collective based in Seattle of femme-aligned small business owners and community builders.
As femme-aligned leaders you have questions, problems, and considerations that are unique. You deserve a supportive community that is just as exceptional as you are.
What does it mean to be “Femme-aligned”?
Femme-aligned refers to folks (regardless of gender) who feel connected to femininity or relate to feminine experiences. This includes those who feel aligned with femininity socially, culturally, or emotionally.
Who attends Kindred events?
Kindred is designed to be a space for women, trans women, queer, and non-binary folks who are femme-aligned.
How is Kindred different from other networking groups?
Kindred’s goal is to meet a need a lot of solo business owners don’t realize we have: creating community with folks who get us and the unique challenges that we face as leaders in our spaces. We foster community in everything we do as we consistently show up and authentically hold space for each other.
