Out in Tech DFW | A sculptured afternoon at the Nasher

2025 is drawing to a close! Join us for our last event of the year on an afternoon out to enjoy the exhibits at the Nasher Sculpture Center in Downtown Dallas! The Nasher has several offerings this day, making for a perfect opportunity to meet and network with fellow LGBTQIA+ professionals, including:

• Nasher by the Book featuring interactive bookmaking, pop-up talks, a reading lounge, and a conversation (beginning at 3pm) with artist Sarah Sze
• Holidays at the Nasher with breathtaking artwork, complimentary hot cocoa, and casual live music

First Saturdays of the month at the Nasher are FREE from admission costs. You can find out more about discounted days on their website here.

Come take in all of the best art in town us as we continue connecting queer techies across the metroplex, growing our networks, and leveraging our skills for social change.

Meet someone new and discuss your ideas, collaborate for better outcomes, or share new opportunities; but, most importantly, be your most authentic self.

If you’re new to our group or a returning member, we can’t wait to see you at the Nasher!

Who can join? Tech reaches many spaces these days, so you don’t need to know every scripting or coding language to join the fun.

We’ve met people across many fields, including education, logistics, and customer service, in addition to traditional tech that have all benefited from a conversation they had at one of our mixers. If tech or how it affects your work interests you, then you’ve found the right crew!

Hang around after we explore everything at the Nasher and stroll around Klyde Warren Park to grab a bite to eat from its many food truck offerings. Check out their food truck schedule here.

PARKING INFO: Street parking is very limited. We'd recommend showing up a tad earlier than your planned arrival to ensure you find a spot or paid lot. Additionally, DART rail's Pearl/Arts District Station is nearby, along with the M-line trolley, which connects directly to the Nasher. Visit DART's website to find a rail station near you. Many stations outside of downtown offer free parking, which are listed here.
