Join us for a powerful and intimate screening of OTHER SIDE, a groundbreaking feature documentary that invites audiences into the deeply personal journey of Lynda Bluestein — a fierce advocate for medical aid in dying — as she fights for autonomy at the end of life.

Diagnosed with terminal cancer, Lynda refuses to surrender control over how her story ends. With honesty, humor, and unwavering courage, OTHER SIDE captures her final year as she navigates love, legacy, and the legal battle for the right to die on her own terms.

This poignant film premiered at the 2025 SXSW Film Festival and challenges cultural silence around death and dying. OTHER SIDE offers a rare and compassionate look at what it means to face mortality with clarity and choice.

The screening will be followed by a Q&A with the filmmakers and representatives of the medical aid in dying advoacy group Patient Choices Vermont.
