OTel Unplugged @ KubeCon/CloudNativeCon Detroit 2022

Get into town early and join the OpenTelemetry community for a day of learning, networking, and sharing as OTel Unplugged rolls into the Motor City! This event is for everyone in the OpenTelemetry world -- end-users, maintainers, contributors, and students alike. Curious about OpenTelemetry, but not involved in the project yet? We'd love to have you as well! Organized in an unconference format, you get to choose what you want to discuss!

Can't make it in-person? We'll have special breakout sessions planned for our virtual attendees, so you can join in from anywhere in the world!

Accessibility: the Colony Club is ADA accessible, and we will be providing live captioning on the video stream and at a link that in-person attendees can access on their devices. The in-person breakouts will not be captioned, but the virtual ones will be taking place primarily in text. Please contact us if you have other accessibility needs and we’ll do our best to meet them.

COVID-19: We will be following the Kubecon policy - negative test within 24 hours or vaccination card. In addition, we request that you wear your mask whenever possible during the event to protect the OpenTelemetry community. Lunch will be offered as a buffet, but there will be an option to bring a plate from the buffet outdoors if eating a meal indoors feels risky. We acknowledge that there is some risk here and plan to allow virtual attendees to participate fully. Please stay home if you feel sick.
