Frequently asked questions

How do I find you?

We'll meet at the north end of the parking lot. I'll be wearing red.

What's the pace?

We'll target 18-20mph in still air. Wind will affect this.

Do I have to take turns at the front?

No. The goal is to develop a rotating pace-line, but if you're not ready for a pull, feel free to rotate back immediately. I'm also prepared to spend the entire ride at the front.

Is this a "no drop" ride?

Not specifically. The route is mostly flat, with only two short climbs over the bridges on Point Brown and Mt. Olympus, and the little hill on Catala at the very end, so there's very little opportunity to get separated. However, you are expected to keep up, staying in the draft if necessary.

Are e-bikes welcome?

Yes. All bikes (and trikes) are welcome (no motor vehicles, mopeds, etc). Some bikes will be more difficult to ride at this pace.

What if I get separated?
