About this event
We host the final event of the 2023 Origin 1st Irish Festival on St Brigid’s Eve with a staged reading of a new play by Maura Mulligan, “Brigid,” featuring songs from the Grammy-winning vocalist Susan McKeown. The cast includes Katherine O’ Sullivan, Meg Hennessy, Thom Molyneaux, Tom Paolino, and Ryan Winter Cahill. Helping us celebrate the feast tonight is the Cuala Foundation, which presents a post-reading panel conversation moderated by McKeown on “Reflections on Modern-Day Brigid Connections,” followed by a reception.
