Are you a bilingual school employee/community member who is called upon to interpret for families? Join us to learn the basics!

Approved for 2 American Translators Association CEPs and 0.2 IMIA/NBCMI CEUs! This 2-hour workshop is part of our Grow Your Own Interpreters Program for school districts seeking to build capacity and training for their bilingual/multilingual staff members who collaborate as spoken language interpreters. Mauricio Dangond will share his many years of practical experience interpreting in general and special education to provide an overview of the field and skills required for effective interpreting.

A minimum of five participants is required to offer the session. Sessions are not recorded. A Certificate of Attendance will be provided. No refunds.
