Are you a bilingual school employee/community member who is called upon to interpret for families? Join us to learn the basics!
Approved for 2 American Translators Association CEPs and 0.2 IMIA/NBCMI CEUs! This 2-hour workshop is part of our Grow Your Own Interpreters Program for school districts seeking to build capacity and training for their bilingual/multilingual staff members who collaborate as spoken language interpreters. Join us for a live presentation that will highlight the basics of interpreting:

Mauricio Dangond will share his many years of practical experience interpreting in general and special education to provide an overview of the field and skills required for effective interpreting.
A minimum of five participants is required to offer the session. Sessions are not recorded. A Certificate of Attendance will be provided. No refunds.
