The Order of the FLAME (Faithful Leaders As Mission Evangelists) is a covenant community dedicated to equipping, nurturing, and encouraging emerging pastors and their spouses in evangelism and mission. Each year, new members are nominated by bishops and denominational leaders to join this unique, invitation-only gathering.
Over four Spirit-led days, attendees will experience:
- Dynamic Teaching on evangelism, cross-cultural mission, the Holy Spirit, and Christian leadership
- Inspiring Worship led by gifted preachers and musicians from across the Wesleyan Methodist family
- Small Group Connection to process, reflect, and grow together
- Time for Rest and Rejuvenation amid the beautiful setting of St. Simons Island
- A Fun Excursion Day to enjoy fellowship and the local area
The Order of the FLAME draws clergy from across Methodist denominations, including:The United Methodist Church, Global Methodist Church, African Methodist Episcopal Church, AME Zion Church, Christian Methodist Episcopal Church, The Wesleyan Church, Church of the Nazarene, and the Free Methodist Church.
Registration includes:
- Four nights of lodging (shared room; upgrade available)
- All meals
- Program materials for both you and your spouse (if attending)
Nominees are responsible for travel and a modest registration fee.
- $250 per individual
- $300 per couple
- +$250 for single room upgrade
