The Climate Change Impacts Guide will be launched at the City Chambers in Glasgow at 11 am on the 8th of October 2019.
About this Event
The Climate Change Impacts Guide is a commitment of the Our Place in Time (OPIT) Climate Change Working Group, and will be launched as part of Climate Week 2019.
The Impacts Guide is the product of a collaborative sector approach and will detail climate change impacts on all aspects of the historic environment, the climate hazards they face, their vulnerability, and potential adaptation measures that can be applied. The guide is the first of its kind – it places Scotland’s historic environment at the heart of climate change action and aims to promote cooperation across all sectors of society.
Guests attending the launch will also be invited to browse stalls where stakeholders and working group members will showcase the work their organisations are doing to address climate change.
