Event description

Description

Join us as we shine a light on how a national health crisis often associated with suburban and rural areas converges along racial, socio-economic, and geographic lines in NYC. Dr. Lloyd Sederer, New York State Office of Mental Health chief medical officer, discusses his new book The Addiction Solution: Treating Our Dependence on Opioids and Other Drugs with Director of Psychopharmacology Clinic at Weill Cornell Medical College Dr. Richard Friedman, and recovered addict Terrell Jones of New York Harm Reduction Educators. The Takeaway producer Alexandra Botti moderates.
