About this event

This online Home Buyer Education HUD & USDA approved course will happen virtually on the Zoom platform. The Zoom link will be emailed within 1-3 business days of the event date. This course is 2 DAYS. The first section is Tuesday night from 6 PM-8 PM and the second section is Wednesday night from 6 PM-8 PM. Attendance both evenings is required to receive a certificate. If class is cancelled due to few registrants, money will be refunded.

  • Assessing your readiness financially and emotionally to purchase a home
  • Determining how much house you can afford
  • Assembling a team of professionals to assist you in the purchase process

  • Preparing to close on the home
  • Navigating the closing process
  • Home Maintenance
  • Selling your home
  • Resolutions for Mortgage Delinquency

This class may help you qualify for:

  • Down payment and closing cost assistance
  • Using gifted funds at closing

Is this course USDA and HUD approved?

Our extension office is HUD approved which makes our virtual and online course USDA and HUD approved.

How do I get my certificate?

After attendance of the four hours between the two evenings, a certificate will be sent electronically within one week.
