Opening Reception of "Mash Ups" by Francie Bishop Good at Art Gallery 21

You're invited to Art Gallery 21's newest art exhibit Grand Opening Reception featuring the incredible artwork by Francie Bishop Good. This new exhibit opening will debut "Mash Ups" a collection of over 20 unique pieces of artwork that embrace emotion, fractured memory and fluid self remains with graphite sketches that are digitally remixed and reassembled with layered textures, fields of color, and unexpected juxtapositions. Good transforms figures into a dreamlike terrain flickering between presence and disappearance. Attendees can prepare to be amazed by the creative fusion of art in one, unique and captivating display. The opening night of this new art exhibit event will be held at the Island City Cultural Center located right off Wilton Drive in Wilton Manors at 600 NE 21st Ct.

Rooted in observation yet guided by intuition, Good embraces accidents, disruptions, and ambiguity in each piece of artwork in this new exhibit, creating images that hover between structure, fragmentation, intimacy and abstraction. “We’re ecstatic to collaborate with Francie to share her artwork with South Florida art lovers at our niche neighborhood art gallery in Wilton Manors. She’s immensely talented with a unique perspective on the world and everyone can attend the exhibit’s grand opening reception on Nov. 15th and enjoy not only art but also music, complimentary refreshments and mingle amongst new and old friends during Wilton Manors Art Walk,” said Constance Rupppender, founder and president of Art Gallery 21.

ABOUT FRANCIE BISHOP GOOD

Born Bethlehem, Pennsylvania and living in Fort Lauderdale, Good is a talented seasoned artist who holds a BFA from University of Colorado and Masters of Education from Florida Atlantic University. As a two-time recipient of the South Florida Cultural Consortium Fellowship and the State of Florida Individual Artist Fellowship, Good has created an array of artwork that has been hosted in museums across the U.S. at the Allentown Art Museum in Allentown, PA to the Museum of Art in Fort Lauderdale, FL, the Museum of Contemporary Art in Jacksonville, Art and Culture Center in Hollywood, FL, and the Orlando Museum of Art in the Florida Prize exhibition.
