Opening Reception for កូន Koun: A Khmer Youth Archive

This summer, our Khmer Youth Circle students gathered to explore identity, culture, and creativity through writing, art, and storytelling. The result is a beautiful collective archive that celebrates inheritance, legacy, and the voices of the next generation.

At the event, you’ll have the chance to:

• See the debut issue of Koun magazine
• View original artwork by our youth participants
• Connect with community members and families
• Enjoy food/light refreshments

The magazine was designed by Marina Heng and the program directed by, myself, Sara Gregor, in collaboration with the Center for Asian Minnesotan Youth (CAMY) and SEA Us Write & Design.
