Opening night exhibition: "To Sit With Me: A Recognition of Being"

The Fabulous Arts Foundation will be showcasing photographic work by Eska Palmer with an opening night celebration on 10/11 from 6-10pm at the Fabulous Arts Foundation Gallery. "To Sit With Me: A Recognition of Being" is a series by Palmer spanning over three years along the Trail of Tears using topographical maps. In this series, Eska explores rituals, ceremonies, and myths specific to her Mi'kmaq First Nation roots while interweaving the cultural impact of her own uprooted identity.

Eska she/her

Eska is a Professor, Department Head, Artist and Mother. From 2024-2025 Eska raised over $300,000.00 in grants to support the arts. Eska has shown work at the Ringling Museum, The Frost Museum, Art Basel, and the Rubell Museum. Eska has published hundreds of images in online publications ranging from avant garde fashion photography (Style Magazine) to Editorial work. Eska is active in the arts and is currently working on her first solo book publication with the support from Worldwide Photography Gala Awards.
