Three full floors of professional artists in loft studios to wander, discover, explore, and learn about various forms of art, inspiration, process, and so much more. Whether you're an art enthusiast, a potential collector, or simply curious, this event offers a unique, behind-the-scenes glimpse into the world of contemporary art. Tour the historic three-story, award-winning renovated corset factory-turned-art studios for a peek into Bridgeport's industrial past and its artistic present and future.

About Metro Art Studios
Located at 345 Railroad Avenue in the South End of Bridgeport, Metro Art Studios occupies a lovingly renovated, formerly abandoned, three-story corset factory and provides premium art studio space to 41 artists working in a wide variety of mediums including painting, drawing, sculpture, jewelry, fiber, printmaking, mixed media, and more. Crown Gallery, on the first floor of Metro, presents the work of area and regional artists six times a year in invitational, curated, and juried exhibits, providing inspirational, thought-provoking art work on a broad range of themes and topics. In addition, Metro Art Studios, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, offers free and low-cost programming to the public through open studio events, art exhibitions, musical performances, and the monthly Artist WorkLab, a professional development discussion series for artists working in all media.
