About the Residents:

Sylvia Friday (She/Her) - Alsea, OR

Sylvia belongs to the way of weaving like a spider in her web. She weaves traditional baskets, folk art and stories.  The spirit of her work is woven from her relationships with plants and animals and the lands and waterways where these beings live.

Hilary Pfeifer (She/Her) - Portland, OR

Hilary Pfeifer is a craft-influenced sculptor who’s more often found scouring discard piles and hardware stores for her materials than a traditional art supply store. Her work explores the natural world through object, collage, installation and public art. Her current project "godseye" was recently featured on Oregon Art Beat.

Jayne Struble (She/Her) - Wayne, PA

Jayne Struble received her MFA from Columbus College of Art & Design in 2014. Her work has been exhibited across the United States from the Cultural Arts Center in Columbus, Ohio to the Charles A. Hartman Gallery in Portland Oregon. Struble is an Assistant Professor at Kutztown University in Kutztown, Pennsylvania.
