All aboard! Open Drawing looks a little different this month! Celebrate the KC Streetcar expansion with a special community collaboration in conjunction with the KC Streetcar Authority.
Not only can you draw throughout Kemper Museum, but you are encouraged to pick up free materials and draw on-the-go! Where, you ask? Well, on the streetcar of course!
Get familiar with the new streetcar line; hop on at The Art Museums stop at 45th & Main and ride downtown. Be inspired by the changing scenery, people and strangers, movement and motion! Drawing prompts and materials will be provided at the museum to spark creativity.
At 8pm, meet back at Kemper Museum for a casual drawing share-out and small late-night bites provided by Oil on Linen in celebration of the restaurant's one-year anniversary!
All levels of experience are welcome. Cash bar. (Kemper Museum members receive two free drinks.)
