Microsoft Word is the most popular word processing software used in businesses today. Want to be more marketable in the business world? Take this class to learn or refresh yourself on the Word 2016 documents basic interface, creating and opening documents, and the basics of working with text. That means learning to format font, font size, color, and cut/copy/pasting. This class is for beginners or someone who needs a refresher and will focus on the vocabulary of Word 2016 to set you up for Word Basics Part II.

Class Requirements:

Internet connection, a device with a screen large enough to view the class, access to Zoom, and Word 2013 or Word 2016 installed on your device. Students should also have basic computer skills.

This is a free online class for NRH Library patrons hosted in Zoom, a remote conferencing service. Space is limited; registration is required. Once registered, students will receive a confirmation email that has the Zoom meeting link. On the day and time of the class, students will copy and paste the link found in the email into their browser's URL bar to sign into the class.
