Educators, librarians, and those in the learning and literacy community are invited to the launch of AustLit's newest project dedicated to supporting Australian Curriculum's Cross-Curriculum Priorities and enhancing digital literacy for secondary students (aged 12+).

The auDA Foundation has generously provided funding to AustLit to develop Learning Environments that utilise the extensive bibliographic data available through AustLit. These Learning Environments are designed to support digital literacy development for students as database users.

The Learning Environments include rich content and data for teachers and librarians, which will help them to identify texts relevant to the three cross-curriculum priorities. And most importantly, these digital resources are free to access for everyone!

The Learning Environments are:

Sustainability
Asia and Australia’s Engagement with Asia
Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Histories and Cultures

These Learning Environments will also help teachers, librarians and students to understand how bibliographies and databases can assist their school learning and research.
