A one-on-one lesson with resident sculptor and wheel thrower, Madeline Zawada. Use this time to learn how to throw on a mid-size potter’s wheel and work on creating one of a kind functional pieces that will be glazed after the class is finished and the pieces are fired.

During the hour and a half long session you'll be given an intro to throwing with centering, coning, and pulling walls. You'll focus on form and technique to create your very one functional pottery.

Each lesson is $55/session, OR if you purchase four lessons at the same time, you'll recieve the discounted rate of $200/four lessons.

Madeline Zawada is a Columbus native who graduated from DePaul University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Art, Media, and Design with a concentration in Sculpture. She works primarily in mixed media sculpture but grew up working with clay and still loves to get her hands a little messy. Join her in one of the classes that she teaches and revel in the absurdity of it all.
