ON LINE: tiny treasures with doreen maller

Come join Madrone Arts for their first on-line class. Artist Doreen Maller will teach you to fold a tiny magical eight-page book from a single sheet of paper. With a theme of your choice you can share a poem, a story, a recipe, a secret! These tiny books are fun to make and make marvelous gifts. What this book becomes is in your capable hands. After we have all created a tiny book , the group will share their stories and reflect on the experience.

This is an ONLINE class suiable for adults and children alike. The cost is by donation as we are trying somoething new, but $25 is suggested.

You will need paper, pens, paint, pencils and a pair of scissors. A zoom link will be provided by the instructor.

This event is open to kids over12 and adults. Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

About the Artist

Doreen Maller is a fiber and paper artist and author, a founding member of the Madrone Artist Coop and a workshop leader. She has brought this workshop to participants all over the country and began teaching it over zoom during the pandemic. She loves the experience of guiding others through the creative process and the shifts and transitions that happen in a group art experience.
