Fight scenes aren’t just about punches. They’re storytelling in motion. In this one-day intensive, you’ll learn safe, dynamic fight choreography designed for the camera. Explore character-driven choices, timing, and precision while maintaining complete safety.

By the end of the workshop, you’ll film your very own fight sequence with professional instruction and direction. Each participant will receive a professionally shot and edited clip of their fight, ready to add to their actor reel. A must-have for actors looking to book action-heavy roles in film, television, or streaming, or for anyone just looking to show off their new skills to family and friends!

Whether you’re new to stage combat or have prior experience, this workshop gives you both the training and the footage to showcase yourself as an actor who can fight and act.

About the Instructor: Orion Barnes

Orion teaches stage and cinematic combat as well as intimacy direction across LACAE’s ACT III and Adult Workshops. He is a founding member of Sword Fights, Inc. and is certified by the Society of American Fight Directors. Orion holds advanced training in theatrical intimacy and consent-forward practices. He brings his expertise in acting, talent management, and fight choreography to help actors safely master physical storytelling for stage and screen.
