OMP presents: Sanctuary of Sound
Overview
Join us for an extraordinary evening unlike anything Opportunity Music Project has done before. Experience a concert featuring OMP faculty in virtuosic performances, students showcasing their artistry, and the beautiful opportunity to hear mentors and students performing side by side.
This special program will bring together inspiring works such as J.S. Bach’s Brandenburg Concerto No. 6 and Vaughan Williams’ Fantasia on a Theme by Thomas Tallis, brought to life by OMP faculty, alumni, community members, and students. The evening will also feature distinguished guest choral artists. Whether you're a devoted classical music lover or discovering these works for the first time, come immerse yourself in a sanctuary of sound - the perfect setting for an unforgettable musical evening.
Special Guest Artist: Sean Lee
We're excited to announce that acclaimed American violinist Sean Lee, recipient of Lincoln Center's prestigious Avery Fisher Career Grant and whose performances have been described by The New York Times as "breathtakingly beautiful," will join us as a special guest artist for this extraordinary evening. A season artist with the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center who studied with legendary violinist Itzhak Perlman at The Juilliard School, Lee brings world-class artistry and a deep commitment to musical excellence that perfectly embodies OMP's mission of mentorship and collaboration.
