Bill Courtney, host of An Army of Normal Folks, will conduct a live podcast interview with Sparky Reardon, the former Dean of Students at Ole Miss and author of the new book The Dean: Memoirs and Missives, a collection of his memories and wisdom from his time at Ole Miss.

About Sparky Reardon

Sparky retired in 2014 after 36 years at Ole Miss working in student affairs and ending up dean of students, where he handled everything from organizing student events to enforcing discipline and managing campus crises. Encouraged by friends and driven by his love for writing and reminiscing, Reardon authored The Dean. Now living in Taylor, MS, he cherishes his solitude, his porch, and the occasional poker game.

About Bill Courtney

Bill Courtney is the subject of the Oscar-winning football documentary Undefeated (on Amazon Prime). He’s an Ole Miss alum, co-founder of the Sigma Charity Bowl, CEO of Classic American Hardwoods, author of Against the Grain, motivational speaker for companies such as FedEx and Nike, and leader of the movement and podcast An Army of Normal Folks.
