Oil Painting Basics
Come join us at The Lonesome Dove for a fun and informative event where you can learn the basics of oil painting. We will be painting a sunset landscape inspired by our Big Sky Great Plains. Class begins September, 26th from 7pm -10pm. We will have an OPTIONAL continuation of the class on the following day, September 27th from 7pm-9pm. This Additional day will be used to cover the oil painting technique called "wet-on-dry" and "oiling-out".
Wheather you're a beginner or looking to brush up on your skills, this in-person event is perfect for all levels. Our experienced instructor will guide you through the process of guiding principles, basic oil painting techniques, materials, composition and color mixing theory.
