A comprehensive workshop on using OHMS to index and edit/authenticate oral history transcripts.

OHMS, Indexing, & Transcript Editing/Authentication is a webinar designed for those who want more in-depth practical training using OHMS to index oral history interviews, and working with transcripts. Transcript topics will include importing transcripts, transcription, working with both machine-generated and human-generated transcripts, the new transcript editor, and the implementation of the WebVTT standard in OHMS. Registrants will participate in a comprehensive training session on both indexing and formatting and importing oral history transcripts, the new transcript editor, and exploring new approaches to transcript synchronization.

The webinar is led by Dr. Doug Boyd, director of the Louie B. Nunn Center for Oral History at the University of Kentucky Libraries. Boyd is an international expert on oral history, archives, and digital technologies who envisioned, designed, and implemented OHMS.
