About this event

  • Event lasts 2 hours

As a platform committed to exploring the socio-political dimensions of the creative industry, we are thrilled to be hosting a journalism panel with speakers from across the industry keen to share their perspectives and experiences within the space.

We will be in conversation with: Emaan Warraich (BBC Impact Journalist/NCTJ Ambassdor), Christine Ntim (BBC, Journalist Researcher), Sana Noor Haq (CNN Digital Worldwide, News Reporter), Arya Jyothi (Global, Broadcast Journalist) and hosted by Lamisah Chowdhury (Freelance Journalist/Producer at The Digital Sisterhood).

The event will be held on Wednesday 6th August from 6:30pm-8:30pm at the Carmelite House, 50 Victoria Embankment, London, EC4Y 0DZ. We will be providing refreshments and a fantastic discussion, so please come along to hear from some of the most impressive people in the industry.

We want this space to be a completely free, contributing space for all to feel comfortable in asking any questions they may have about publishing — no matter how relevant you think it is and regardless of how much you know of the industry.

Please follow us across social media @thawramag to stay updated.
