Overview

A virtual dance class for queer folks!

Come dance at a queer-only workshop! Here is a chance for queer folks with even the vaguest interest in dance to connect. We'll do some dancing together and continue to build queer dance community.

Our October workshop will feature the wonderful Toby MacNutt.

Toby MacNutt (they/them) is a queer, nonbinary trans, disabled & neurodivergent dancer, artist, teacher, and poet living in rural Vermont. Toby’s work often explores relationship between bodies, or body and non-body, and with it questions what is, and is not, the body. Their current solo project A Singular They features eight different object/environment combinations. Previous works include Enter the Void and One, Two, as well as performing or creating with other dancers and companies including Murmurations, AXIS Dance (choreo-lab 2018 & 2019), Lida Winfield, and more. Find out more about at www.tobymacnutt.com or on instagram @tobymacnutt.

Free to attend, but please consider a donation no more than $20 to help keep these workshops going.

Zoom details will be provided to all who RSVP.

Accessibility: The workshop will have automated captions available, chat will be used thoughtfully and chats will be read out to the group

I do my best to make the workshop accessible to as many people as possible. If you have any concerns or needs, please feel free to note them in your rsvp or email me before the workshop at: jotrolldance@gmail.com
