About the Project
We’re raising funds to cover rent for November 2025, which allows us to open the lodge daily from 9am–9pm for community access while we finalize long-term financing. Once the rent is covered, we can officially keep the doors open for members to use the space to work, rest, create, and connect.
Cedar Lodge already has everything: 14 bedrooms, a full industrial kitchen, a lakeside porch, lounge areas, and even a private swimming dock. But it needs community support now to stay in local hands.
Why It Matters
This open house is more than a walkthrough — it’s our chance to show what’s possible if we keep Cedar Lodge in the hands of the community. Right now, another investor wants to convert this historic space into a private care facility, but we have the opportunity to turn it into something completely different: a creative, restorative hub for artists, healers, and community members across the PNW.
By attending, you’re helping us demonstrate the real potential of this project. Every visitor, membership, and partnership that comes out of this event helps us prove to lenders that the demand is real — that people already want to use, support, and invest in this space.
The more momentum we build this fall, the stronger our position to secure a long-term business loan that will make The Northwest Nest fully operational — with daily meal service, staffed retreats, and a sustainable model for shared use year-round.
