About this event

Serving San Pedro for over 10 years! Join us as we take a break from stressors, bring stillness to mind, move through the heart, and give ourselves the time to recharge and restart with Tai Chi!

Tai Chi is an ancient form of martial art that has over the years evolved into a form of rehabilitation, mental well-being and overall health.

Some benefits may include:

~ Relieved physical affects of stress and tension

~ Reduced anxiety and depression

~ Improved balance and stability

~ Enhanced awareness, mobility, and coordination

~ Heightened mental capacity and concentration

~ Deeper breathing, serenity, and inner peace

Classes are every Saturday at 10:45am. Our wonderful members meet on the grass overlooking the Ocean - across from 917 W Paseo Del Mar, San Pedro, CA 90731

(Cross streets are Paseo Del Mar and South Cabrillo Ave.)

Things to know:

  • There is plenty of free parking.
  • In the event of rainy weather, class will be cancelled.
  • Yoga mats are not needed.
  • The Style practiced in class is the Yang Style, with modifications tailored to promote both balance and fall prevention.
  • You are welcome to invite friends and family.
  • We recommend dressing according to weather conditions - protecting yourself from both hot or cold temperatures.
  • It is suggested to drink water after class to stay hydrated, flush out toxins and support our body's natural healing process.
  • Regarding eventbrite PDF ticket: no need to print out, your presence in our class is more than enough 🙂

Learning Tai Chi is a gradual process that requires patience and practice. It’s normal to not get all the movements right at first. Take your time and enjoy the journey.
