Objects of Affection - Decorative Ceramic Hardware Workshop

Join us in designing and creating your very own ceramic decorative hardware. Each participant will design and create a set of 4 furniture knobs.

This session is led by Clarissa Guzman, an object and spatial designer exploring ceramics with an intuitive design approach that leads to experiments in the medium. The experience dives into the approach to design, a creative brainstorm, hands-on building and techniques, and underglazing design.

Light provisions will be provided for students.

This experience includes:

• Guided lesson in design approach, ceramic techniques, and concept support end-to-end
• All necessary materials and tools to create the hardware
• Underglaze and optional final clear glaze
• Full firing
• Hardware for ready-to-use installation

All pieces will be available for pick up 1.5-2 weeks after the session.
