Object-based learning at Archives & Collections

An object-based learning session at GSA Archives and Collections offers students the opportunity to engage directly with historic artifacts, artworks, and design objects from the School’s extensive collection. In these sessions, participants handle and study objects from the collection, learning about their materiality, craftsmanship, and historical context. The session will deepen understanding of art and design processes, encourage critical thinking, and foster a personal connection to the creative heritage of the Glasgow School of Art.
