Overview

An in-person satellite event as part of the OAI14 conference which will focus on the theme Open Infrastructure.

As a part of the OAI14 conference taking place online between 10 and 14 of November (https://oai.events/oai14/) the team at the UCL Office for Open Science & Scholarship are hosting an in-person satellite event (https://oai.events/oai14/satellite-events/) at the Bloomsbury campus. The event will focus on the theme Open Infrastructure from the Tuesday of the OAI programme.

1pm-2pm: Watch session keynote from OAI followed by discussion of the topic as presented.

2pm - 2.30pm: coffee, cake and networking

2.30pm - 3pm: presentations from Hugh Shanahan and Louise Saul about their experiences of and work with open infrastructures

3pm - 4pm: coordinated discussion of open infrastructures and how the UK can do more, including an introduction of the EOSC node concept and ORCC from LS.

4pm: END with optional stick around for networking
