Overview

Each year, the New York State Ornithological Association counts waterfowl across the state. Come and help tally birds along the shoreline!

Meet at the Evangola State Park Bath House, Warm Up Room. Please arrive 10-15 minutes prior to the start of the program. Registration is required for all programs.

Every year, The New York State Ornithological Association counts the number of waterfowl across the state, with more than 250,000 birds recorded in most years. Jump on board this community-driven science project and help tally birds along the shore!

Please dress for the weather. Binoculars and scopes are encouraged.

Programs are free. Parking is limited and parking fees may apply.

Please note that we do not allow pets on our park programs unless otherwise specified. This does not apply to service animals. All programs are subject to change. Thank you for your cooperation.
