About this event

Join NYO's Boston 30th Annual AfroVibes Summer Bash Reunion, a cultural event welcoming the whole community to Franklin Park to enjoy our West African vibes.

We are thrilled to announce the relaunch of the Nigerian Youth Organization of Boston's (NYO) 30th Annual Summer Bash, which will return in Summer 2025 after a brief hiatus.

Since 1997, NYO Boston has proudly served as a cultural anchor for Nigerian-American youth and families in Greater Boston. Our signature event, the NYO Boston AfroVibes Summer Bash Reunion, celebrates cultural pride, youth achievement, and community togetherness.

This year’s event will revive the spirit of our 30th Annual Bash with an expanded vision—bringing together over 500 guests for a day of family fun, food, music, cultural presentations, and youth recognition. Hosted at Franklin Park Playstead Field, the event will include games, live music, youth performances, and a graduation award ceremony to honor youth accomplishments.

This year's host is TBA, and the event will feature guest performances, music by DJ TBA, a marketplace, and free food. It is an all-ages event, and we ask our fellow supporters in the community to step up and donate for a good cause so our youth can benefit and experience the excellent connections we have made over the years as ONE NAIJA.

This high-energy, family-friendly gathering will celebrate our community's vibrancy with:

  • Over 500 guests expected
  • Youth graduation & recognition ceremony
  • Traditional Nigerian food & games
  • Live DJs + cultural dance & performances
  • Local vendors, community resource tables, and giveaways

Free and open to the public, MBTA is Highly Encouraged.
